Process
How the three-day workshop works
Day 1: Understand the business
Meet the people closest to the work, review representative tasks and documents, and identify bottlenecks. Understand your existing systems, data, licences and current AI usage.
Day 2: Assess the opportunities
Evaluate where process improvements, existing software, automation or AI could help. Assess indicative benefits, effort, data readiness, security and licensing requirements. Shortlist suitable pilot opportunities.
Day 3: Prioritise and agree next steps
Present a prioritised roadmap, recommended pilots and practical adoption priorities. Discuss proposed owners, success measures and next steps with your decision-makers.
What You’ll Walk Away With
You’ll receive a practical assessment and prioritised plan to help you decide what to pursue, what to defer and what needs further investigation. Your proposal defines the business areas covered and the depth of each deliverable. Discovery provides the assessment and plan. Pilot delivery, implementation and ongoing support are scoped separately unless explicitly included in your proposal.
Current-state assessment
A summary of how work runs across the agreed business areas, including the main bottlenecks, existing capabilities and constraints. We consider people, processes, systems and data together.
Opportunity register
A structured list of improvement opportunities with indicative benefits, effort, dependencies and assumptions. We distinguish time released for other work from actual cost reductions and identify where estimates need further validation.
Roadmap and pilot recommendations
Recommended priorities covering quick wins, medium-term initiatives and longer-term improvements. For shortlisted pilots, we outline the intended users, proposed owner, scope, dependencies and measures of success.
People and adoption
Help your people put the improvements to work
Useful technology needs people who know when and how to use it. We assess adoption needs alongside the technical opportunities and recommend learning based on the real tasks your team performs.
Develop internal AI champions
Where appropriate, we recommend a small group of internal AI champions: trusted staff who understand the work and can help colleagues use approved tools effectively. The plan identifies their responsibilities, the time and manager support they need, and when to involve IT or specialist developers.
Measure progress and support adoption
We recommend how to measure progress through usage, work quality and business outcomes. The workshop identifies adoption priorities; training delivery and ongoing coaching are scoped separately.
